psocopteraI totally thought last night was going to be it, but no. If *tonight* is not it, I get to go see the Hunger Games movie tomorrow, so that seems win-win.
I did hold *a* baby tonight, our friends' baby, which was very nice; perhaps a future good friend of my baby, once they are a couple of running-around things and not a delightful ball of pudge and an abdominal parasite, respectively. It was a lovely evening in general - a celebration of the finalization of said baby's adoption, so, a most joyous occasion, and the seeing of friends; in combination with some recent email, and a rather sappy conversation with my parents last night, made me feel once again how much love and support is out here for this baby when it decides to appear.
