I think I read something like 40-45 stories in this batch, and am reccing 12, so between a quarter and a third? Maybe I'm not being picky enough, but on the other hand, more recs=more fun, and any story that picks up even one extra reader because of me seems like a win for everyone, so hey.

On the Ancient Debacle at Tergeste. A Gentlemen of the Road story! I hadn't so much been thinking of this as a repeating Yuletide fandom to look forward to every year - but I like the idea that it's turning into one.

As Simple As That, Girl Genius, Agatha/Gil/Tarvek and yes that's all three ways. Not my favorite characterization of Agatha ever (she's too passive here) but I still grinned so hard. The only thing that could make this better would be porn.

A Woman With Silver Eyes. I liked the details of this Girl with the Silver Eyes look into the future.

Growth Industry. Martin Blank, entrepreneur (Grosse Pointe Blank).

Technical Difficulties. Gunnerkrigg Court, bodyswapping.

Birds of a Feather. Ok, I am pretty much a sucker for anything where Kat builds stuff. (More Gunnerkrigg Court.)

The Un-Letters. A His Dark Materials story about Mary and about the awfulness of the separation of the worlds, which is a thing with me.

Four Castles Howl Built. Fic for the Howl's Moving Castle animated movie rather than the book, which, enh, but charming and reasonably Howl-y.

All In A (Sexy) Day's Work. About the Hark! A Vagrant Strong Female Characters.

A pair of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy stories: Panic and The Cold Sands of Anatidae. Arthur/Ford bookends to the series, perhaps.

Loopholes is a Homeward Bounders fix-it story, insofar as that's possible. I'm not sure what I think about that - maybe the end should just have to be *it* - but, enh, in the end I'm always interested to see what fic can do with things.

Happy to see that you recommended two of Elizabeth Culmer's fics, since I really love her work in general.

Heh, I am still reading in pre-reveal mode and have been trying not to look at authors at all, so I have no idea which stories they were ::grin::. I'll have to go back, find her, and check out her other work.
