So it turns out "stuff" was a terrible theme. I have nothing to say about stuff, despite owning a great deal of it.

... actually I guess there are things it would feel awkward to say, like I could recommend owning a potato masher (which was an excellent gift from my sister, one time), except, probably nobody other than me needs encouragement or permission to have a potato masher, I'm pretty sure that's the kind of thing normal people just buy if they want, and it doesn't really seem like something people wouldn't have heard of either. ::shrug::

My mother gave me my potato masher after deciding I needed it (this was when I had moved out of the house and gone to Chicago, she mailed it USPS). Currently I am trying to decide if I should get a potato ricer...

... I don't even know what a potato ricer is. Is there a rice potatoer too?

Not exactly, http://www.amazon.com/OXO-Good-Grips-Potato-Ricer/dp/B00004OCJQ

And I am sure sure scientists are working on the rice potatoer as we speak.. though one could say that Onigiri approaches that concept.
