Thank you so much for writing me a story! This is my second year participating and my overall feeling about Yuletide is still "I can really do this? me? WOW!" so, wow! A story for me! Yay!
My requests were:
Leviathan - Scott Westerfeld
Deryn Sharp, Aleksandar of Hohenburg
I enjoyed the appearance of Tesla in Goliath and would love to see Deryn and Alek meet another famous person of the 1910s-1920s. Or perhaps a story about how they keep saving each other or taking care of each other once they're off Leviathan (Deryn/Alek romantic pairing).
Further information: I love these books so much! Girls dressing as boys! Bizarre engineered animals! Airship adventure! Smoochies where the girl is taller! This is one fandom where I'm okay with gen but really don't want to see Deryn or Alek paired off with anyone else.
A Companion to Wolves Series - Elizabeth Bear & Sarah Monette
Isolfr
Several unrelated ideas! 1) Could Isolfr end up in a happy romantic relationship, post Tempering of Men? It really seems like it's not going to work out with Vethulf and Skjaldwulf (sigh), so who could he end up with? Isolfr/Fargrimr, Isolfr/Otter, Isolfr/Sokkolfr, Isolfr/anybody? Isolfr/crossover character, because his only plausible partner isn't even in his universe?? OR, 2) what will Alfgyfa be like as a teen or adult?, OR, 3) what if Kari was secretly a girl? OR, 4) anything from Fargrimr's point of view. (If you want to write any of the last three that is awesome and I figure Isolfr can wander through in the background if you feel obliged to put him in there somewhere.)

The Secret Science Alliance and the Copycat Crook - Eleanor Davis
Julian Calendar, Greta Hughes, Ben Garza
I would love to see a story about a time that someone tried to use SCIENCE to do their chores, or else a story about a time that someone tried to use SCIENCE on a date. (A date between any pair of Julian, Greta, and Ben, a date with one of them and someone else entirely, or a Julian/Ben/Greta threesome date, whatever!)
Further information: This is the fandom where I squee really loudly if you've matched with me on this because you've read this and you want to write it and dude, wow, that is the magic of Yuletide, right there!
If you've matched me on something else, let me briefly attempt to convince you that you want to read this comic anyways, not to write fic for it, but just because it is super awesome and it will make you happy:
- twelve-year-old mad scientists
- lonely nerd finding his people
- nerds and jocks and troublemakers all bonding over a shared love of SCIENCE
- kick-ass characters of color (Greta and Ben)
- art is jam-packed with interesting details
- THEY HAVE A SECRET UNDERGROUND LAIR WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT
General preferences
I happily read all of gen, het, slash, and multiple/poly ships. I don't object to explicit sex where plot-appropriate but I'm not particularly eager for it either. Fluff or angst or humor are all good; I am kind of not feeling the AUs this year, that is, I would prefer stories where all of the events of the book/series did take place/will take place. (Um, except if you're writing girl!Kari, which I guess is, in fact, an AU.) I don't really have any "I can't possibly read this" squicks, although please don't take that as a challenge.
Oh, Christmas: I will be eager to read my story as soon as possible, but I have a two-year-old and a houseful of extended family coming for Christmas and not quite enough bathrooms to politely lock myself in one long enough to read and comment ::grin::. Depending on exactly when stories go live I may need 24 hours or so to get to the point where I can sit down with my laptop. (Or I may be awake at 3 am on the 25th still wrapping things and thrilled to read something that isn't assembly instructions, who can say.) Thank you very much in advance for your patience just in case.
