fic rec: ah, summer camp

Something else I read recently. I've never read or heard of the source, a book called I Want To Go Home by a YA author named Gordon Korman who I vaguely recall seeing on shelves, but the fic has great characters, satisfying plotting, and a sweet 'ship.

A Very Long Summer by Calathea, 37K words. Prank wars, inter-cabin rivalries, and best friend crushes.

I want to go Home is one of my favorite YA books ever. It's a great book written by Korman when he was a kid himself so it's got a kid's perspective and sense of humour. I laughed myself silly when I read it.

Cool! Maybe I'll see if I can track it down, it sounds good (and it's always interesting to see what characters are like in canon).
