didodikali is my favorite fan artist. You may know her from the sweet (and yet sort of biting) illustrated Harry Potter epilogue story Platform 9.99999999.... Sadly she doesn't seem to be doing much fanwork these days... I think she's designing quilt fabrics or something.

Four Minutes is an illustrated Escaflowne fanfic - I didn't know anything about Escaflowne before reading this story (and still mostly don't - she wrote a quick intro to the characters here, but I don't even think you need it.) It's charming and sexy (and fourteen chapters long). It's an arranged marriage romance that dodges the cliche where both spouses have fallen in love but don't believe the other one has, leading to a crisis of misunderstanding blah blah. Instead Dryden pretty much manipulates Millerna into wedded bliss - which sounds like it could be creepy, but, I dunno, I have a soft spot for sneaky non-bastards. And Dryden isn't even *conning* her, really, he's just... refusing to accept that things can't work out.
