Headache + wailing all morning = nothing but relief at drop-off. For me, that is.

Mostly denial and bargaining so far - "I think it's Monday", upon being told it's Tuesday, "Let's go to the playground", as if maybe we're only doing this preschool thing for lack of better ideas. Poor little bug. (But, oh, goodness, is it pleasant to be in a quiet house. Still investigating possible correlation of headache and the game she invented yesterday, "potwhacker", pretty much what it sounds like.)

I do a variety of dumb/bad things with our child, but I swear I had no involvement in the invention of Potwhacker.

In the recent trend of packing and selling parlor games, maybe we could market it? Although I'm not sure who would buy it.

Malicious or well-meaning-but-entirely-clueless relatives. There's definitely some gifts I was tempted to get for my sister's kids and I held off because I knew she'd get me back ten times worse when I had kids of my own :-P
