Fated Sky

The Fated Sky, Mary Robinette Kowal. I liked this better than Calculating Stars because there was a lot more space. Although I think my favorite thing in this series is still the short story Articulated Restraint. Some of the "Elma tries to be a good ally but missteps" stuff felt a little dutiful, like I was reading a diversity training manual, but there were a bunch of character moments that did land for me.
