How did it go: Miss. Junie wasn't interested in oobleck.
Things we talked about: why aren't we playing with the duck and the rock that are sitting right there?
What Junie got out of it: the duck and the rock and a tub of water

Well, foo. I suspect that one's a "try again in two years" thing, then. Probably it just didn't seem unusual to her since so much is still unusual.

Yeah, my pitch wasn't great either, I let her add some water, but I gave her a little too much, so I was all "this is cool! except it's a little runny right now, hold on" and she was just like "yeah whatever mom". We'll definitely try again sometime.
