cesperanza is another favorite fanfic author. My favorite stories of hers are long, but this one is Short Story Week suitable.

Friendly is a Stargate:Atlantis story, about 6200 words. I've read hundreds of John/Rodney stories, but this one stands out for being just as much John/gay community.
