good and bad

On the up side, I have finally installed Photoshop Elements and have succeeded in making an icon. On the down side, New, Open, and Quit are all currently greyed out in the menus. I don't *think* I've ever seen Quit disabled before, but maybe I've just blocked it out. I wish it would tell you *why* things are disabled (oh, Help is also disabled, of course.)
