Jul. 6th, 2003 06:05 pmWhere "new" is circa 1996; m'dear Carpenter was good enough to swap me one of her old Mac monitors for mine. And just in time... mine was mostly down to green-only and I had *that* flicker out this morning, the same phenomenon that heralded the decline of the red and the blue. The new monitor is about an inch smaller and more curved, which I'm not used to these days, making it seem oddly bulgey, like the windows are about to break free and spring out at me. But more importantly, it is in glorious *three* primary colors, making possible literally thousands of colors, although I am only using 256 at present. Still, I feel like I'm in Oz...
