psocopteraThis is my first year as a Yuletide participant, so I will be very excited just to be getting a story, written for me!
I am uselessly flexible as far as particulars - I like het and slash, gen and porn, pairings and multiples, angst and fluff, plots and vignettes, backstories and futurefic, missing scenes and AUs. With regard to my specific fandoms:
I love pretty much every character on Huge except for Shay and have no shipping preferences (even for ships I've written). The one thing I feel really strongly about is no fat hate - it's okay if individual characters feel that way, that's canon, but please not the story over all. The bodies we see on the show are beautiful and I couldn't enjoy a story that wanted to "fix" them. (Similarly, my one exception about shipping is no romance for Poppy, please - I would love a happily ever after for her, but not one that ignores or "cures" her asexuality.) The thing I really really want in a Huge story is just to see what characters or aspects of the show someone else finds exciting enough to write about!
Marvin the Martian/Michigan J. Frog 4ever! Or maybe they're BFFs if you don't want to write them as In Love, or maybe It's Complicated? What is Michigan thinking as the spaceship leaves Earth? Do they have further adventures? Relevant canon.
My dream Bloody Jack fic is one where Jaimy somehow comes to terms with Jacky being permanently non-monogamous. I could also see a good story in the exact opposite, Jacky coming to terms with choosing monogamy for Jaimy's sake. Either way, kissing! Or maybe no kissing!
