Juniper may have learned her name! Previously, when we said something like "this is mama's nose (touching my nose), whose nose is this? (touching her nose)", she wouldn't say anything, but today she did: Ji-boo! I didn't get it at first, and then I started repeating Juniper after she said it and she gave me the big smile and laugh of aha-Mama's-got it, and then later she was saying it over and over again to herself in the mirror and laughing, interspersed with the usual kisses etc. So, she knows her name! Or at least gets that she has one and is trying to say it. Or possibly she thinks we should fly Jet Blue.

Other popular words lately: dude and handcuffs, thanks to friends on our Vermont vacation. The other night at dinner she was very interested in dude, handcuffs, and bus, and now I can't stop thinking how long it's been since I watched Speed.
