I feel awkward writing about my evening out when apparently Junie, left with my mom, was shrieking-terrified for 45 minutes clutching the gate waiting for us to come back, until she collapsed from exhaustion. (Junie, not my mom. Although I suspect my mom was close too.) But: Among the Oak and Ash, fun folk show at Passim! Amusing contrast between the hyperkinetic frontman and the banjo player who looked like they weren't paying her enough to have facial expressions. Am a little worried I'll get concert whiplash going from Passim half-empty to the Garden sold-out on Friday - I'm talking about *500 times* the audience size, from 40ish to 20000.

Yeah, new girl vocalist is nothing like as awesome as old girl vocalist :-( Josh joplin is still pretty great though.
