psocopteraAm unthrilled to have just gotten off work. Will be 8 by the time I'm home.
I'm still really glad to be working again, but, I kind of feel like as a technician I should get thanked when I work an hour and a half overtime. Not, you know, get *paid* overtime or anything, I know how it works in the lab, but, just an acknowledgement that, yup, I hung in there late. Maybe a little appreciation would not be amiss.
Am encouraging self with thoughts of maybe getting on the paper.
More "still... but" here: I still think the work is interesting overall and not unreasonable, but I could live without the constant nitpicking about my choice of pipet or which hand I'm using or things of that nature. Rule of thumb, Daniel: any sentence that begins "I don't want to micromanage, but" is probably micromanaging...d
