Mar. 10th, 2010 08:57 pmWe were well enough to make it to our final swim lesson, much to the joy of Ms. Splashy Splashy.
Comparing her today to the first lesson six weeks ago, the thing that actually struck me the most wasn't about swimming at all - it was that six weeks ago in the locker room, she mostly wanted to sit and crawl on the floor, and today she wanted to stand and play with the doors and handles of the lockers. She's been pulling to stand and cruising for several months now but she's hit a new level of balance recently; it's most obvious in the walking (she's up to four or five steps and can sometimes change directions) but it's really all over in how she's interacting with the world.
