Claire! Claire Claire Claire! Oh my do I love the idea that she's the new Rousseau with the traps and disheveled hair and lost child. Do not love the idea that she's been possessed by the darkness, or whatever, but hey, here we are hitting *two* of my questions and it's only the second ep. Because it would seem that in fact there *was* a couple in Los Angeles who were thinking about adopting, so whyever the psychic was determined to get Claire onto 815, it wasn't a *total* fabrication.

Otherwise: could Aldo have more clearly been marked as dead meat? Was Kate crying for Juliet or because she finally realized Sawyer was over her, and how much do I hate myself that this question even occurred to me? Did that bear trap break Jin's ankle?

Best moment: Ethan turning up as Claire's doctor. Aaaaah!

yeah, possessed by the darkness....so Dogen had asked Jack about lots of people getting shot or hurt on the island, and for a bit I was interpreting that as the darkness (smoke?) gets in through bullet holes or other injuries, but now I'm thinking that Dogen was just trying to guilt trip Jack into getting Sayid to take the pill. Plus we know that pretty much all of Rousseau's team got infected. So was it just a matter of time that our heroes got infected?
