Last month Juniper had two weeks of digestive upset; I thought it was a coincidence that it happened right after her first H1N1 shot, but then yesterday she got the followup shot, and today, digestive upset. Hmmm. Well, today is just today, no point in feeling two weeks of woe over one day so far, one board at a time, etc. Also, however, I found mouse turds in the knife drawer this morning; in combination I would very much like to just go back to bed and pull the covers over my head for two weeks.

I think it is possible that this is one of those straightforward biology things, where resources are being allocated to the immune system and away from the digestive system. Of course, I am definitely not a biologist — I'm going on Bio 2 and 7th grade Life Science here.

(And ick, mice! I am so glad I only have roaches...)
