morning is a better time for sentences

After two weeks of daddy, grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends, heaps of new toys, and constant outings, our first day back to the mom-and-meep-in-the-living-room routine was... not particularly enjoyed by anyone. It may help when the shipment of those new toys shows up; it would also help if naps could last longer than an entirely-insufficient 30 minutes, which pretty much means "being tied down in the carseat so she doesn't push up to sitting the first time she stirs at all", which means bundling up into a zillion layers and still getting bright red cheeks (in order to go out and fall asleep in the stroller to begin with), and, oh look, it's more sentences complaining about winter. Seriously, though, what am I supposed to do about keeping June's face from freezing? I feel nervous about covering her nose and mouth with a scarf. Maybe I can wrap the other way, around her head and under her chin, and get some coverage on the cheeks that way?
