Successfully gave away a rug on the local Buy Nothing FB group! This was a play rug with a track of roads for driving toy trucks on, which the younger kid, being now 11, said he would like to go be used by someone who would appreciate it, which was no longer him. I've been working on this one for awhile - first I tried to join an "Everything is Free" FB group, but they never approved me, and then I tried to sell it on craiglist for a nominal price, but no one was interested, and then there was some back and forth after I got approved for this group and posted where I was trying to tell if the first person to reply had lost interest or was just being slow, and should I go on to the next person, or what. But it has now been handed off, and will hopefully please some small person somewhere.
