Unless I am blocking something out (which is possible), I just soloed a zero-tears evening with the kids. Q screeched like a banshee at one point during Junie's preschool pickup, but actual tears, no. "The Night My Four-Year-Old Didn't Cry." Someone could write a folk song about that. I have always wondered if it was possible, and now I have seen it myself. Wow.

it occurred to me at some point that there will come a day where we go an entire day with neither of our kids crying. At all. I suspect it will still be a ways off especially with the new little one
