A pregnancy update - 38 weeks, or "full term". Might still want to cook for a couple more weeks - but it might not, who can say, dun dun dunnn.

I am really quite full of baby. It has dropped, such that I now feel, not without reason, like there is a human head wedged in my pelvis. "But it's a small head!" Josh said when I told him this.

I think my brain is already switching into newborn mode because my older child seems very large and loud and rambunctious. Still, y'know, amazing and adorable, but also frequently sort of wince-inducing.

Wow. That...seems to have gone quickly. (Not that I am really in a position to comment upon the existential aspects of your pregnancy, but still.)

Relatedly, what's Junie's current favorite color? I recall the mention of pink vs. purple at one point, but I wanted to knit something for the big sister and figured I'd get her input.

... there was a montage? ::shrug::

If you're asking me on her behalf, I'm going to say purple; if you want me to actually ask her, I can do that, will report back.

(There was not actually a montage.)

I hope you are reasonably comfortable during the last bit of the pregnancy (as comfortable as anyone can be with a not all that small head in your pelvis) .

I remember from from my own end of pregnancy having a very hard time sleeping - so I hope you are getting some good sleep.
