Headache + wailing all morning = nothing but relief at drop-off. For me, that is.

Mostly denial and bargaining so far - "I think it's Monday", upon being told it's Tuesday, "Let's go to the playground", as if maybe we're only doing this preschool thing for lack of better ideas. Poor little bug. (But, oh, goodness, is it pleasant to be in a quiet house. Still investigating possible correlation of headache and the game she invented yesterday, "potwhacker", pretty much what it sounds like.)

Banana muffins she made herself + goldfish crackers she picked out herself (+ peas added by Mama in the interest of food group diversity) = food consumed at school!

Plus we think she had a better day; we know she participated in the craft, and it was another nice-playground-weather day.

Fingers crossed for less misery tomorrow morning.
