We would have had more fun on our hike in the Fells if, at the break, I had just sucked it up and un-bundled enough to nurse Juniper, who did not think waiting until we got back to the car was reasonable. It was only 27F or so... what can I say, I may be trying to live like a hardy New Englander but parts of me are still soft Southern Californian, and maybe some parts more than others.
