manga requesting binge

Kind of like the impovrished younger brother of manga buying binge; in this case it involves the Minuteman Library Network and the use of the request button. Three Ranma (which I really need to start a list of which ones I've read), the next two Blade of the Immortals, and Strong Poison/Have His Carcase which is actually what I was online to reserve ::grin::.

In other news, ate too much marzipan. Meh.

But did take the trash out.

You can get manga through the Minuteman Library Network? What have I been doing with my life??? I'm going to have to forget this before I commute past one of their branches, or I'll never get to work...

You can order manga at the library? Do they actually fill the orders? (Like, all of them, just because you clicked "request"? Or do you have to wait for five or ten people to request for each title before a title gets ordered?)

No, it's that you can request anything that exists in the system, meaning it could be way out in Stow or Framingham or something, but you request it and it gets sent to the library you say you want to pick it up at. I don't know if the average user can have any effect on the book-buying process.
