blurrier

I find that "Blurred Lines" song very catchy, and yet I find the lyrics and video off-putting. But Mod Carousel fixed it! They describe it as a parody but I think it's a straight-up improvement. (NSFW in the manner of the original video.) I linked to this elsewhere and someone commented that they weren't in favor of objectifying men any more than they were of objectifying women; for me the associations are very different, like men in makeup = drag = voluntary fun, whereas women being depicted as toys = women are the sex class = long history of anti-female laws etc. Also though also it is Super Hot which I'm sure is slanting my view a bit ::grin::.

Aside from my strong dislike of the term "douchebag", I liked this alternative parody, which directly attacks the whole "you say you don't, but I know you want it" rape culture thing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WVI9PfBzsA8
