No-tear school day - not at drop-off, not beforehand, not while she was there! Just a happy day at school!

And then as we woke up after nap, in the space of about five minutes, she a) gave my belly some pets and said she was petting the tiny baby in there, b) announced that she had a tiny Bert in her tummy, c) asked when the baby would come out. So some sort of leap of comprehension seems to have taken place there as well!

In regards to "b)", is Bert the father? What does Ernie think about that?

Bert and Ernie have a very complicated family life - sometimes Ernie is the baby and Bert is his mama, sometimes Big Bird is their daddy, sometimes Bert is Ernie's mama and Ernie is Bert's mama. It sounds like the tiny Bert in Junie's tummy will come out and learn to talk and then it will be Bert?

The Follow Juniper game made a big impression on Kaia. She was talking about it all day Monday, and Juniper cycled into the list of important people who do stuff (along with Mommy, Daddy, grandparents, Bubble Guppies, Ya-Ya, Lissy, etc.)

Cool. Junie is very interested in family relationships right now and so we talked a bunch about who is L and who is M and how do they go with Kaia. We should set up a Skype date for them sometime ::grin::.
