1: Iron Man 3. I loved it. ( All further thoughts spoilery, behind this cut. )

1.5 Also my kids made it through being babysat with NO TEARS, a major first for Q. It's SO much nicer to be able to think about going out without it meaning guaranteed misery for the home team. Go Q (and his loving sitters)!

2. Team Human, Sarah Rees Brennan and Justine Larbalestier. Loved this book, recommended. ( spoilers )

3. Anna Dressed In Blood, Kendare Blake. Sort of reminded me of Shiver, although that might just have been the brown ink. The other similarities - the secondary pairing, the parental abuse backstory - might not have struck me if it wasn't for the ink. Will the other two be in green and red? We may never know, as I don't think I'm going to read them; I liked the romance and werewolf-mechanics worldbuilding in Shiver more than I liked anything here. It wasn't a *bad* book - interesting premise, some good scenes - but the romance didn't grab me, and I don't find myself particularly needing to know what happens next, so, enh. You could do worse.
