Heh, I did not scroll over to see if there were any notes in the offscreen column. I believed a Hypebunch page that it was 56400 words but if it's actually 48000 then it does just fit the wiggle room. I guess if it shows up on neither finalist list we'll have to wait for the longlist to learn more...
