While I was still reading it I had a weird dream in which I half woke up in bed but was also downstairs in the kitchen and was like "oh, of course, two of my bodies". I eventually woke up the rest of the way (or for real - I guess I must have been entirely asleep if I was dreaming the kitchen part) and was able to localize myself to the one body that was actually in bed, but it was an interesting out-of-body sort of feeling before that.

I was of course joking about Rosenbaum's AO3 pseud, never dreaming there was any chance he might read any of this. I mean, that's personal, I would never ask someone unless they brought it up! But, okay, if I were to hypothetically send him email, what would be the most polite way of doing it? Just quoting this whole post minus that bit? Trying to rewrite it to be more concise and less talking about him in the third person? Just dropping a link to this post and running, at which point I suppose he would also get to read these very comments, which is maybe more of an experience of the universal-surveillance-no-privacy world than I think any of us want? :)
